| Amiamo molto la Toscana. Da 8 anni ci passiamo 15 giorni a settembre. Abbiamo visitato alcuni residences in provincia di Siena, poi abbiamo scoperto Il Casale. Dal 2004 non possiamo fare a meno di venirci a trascorrere 2 settimane in santa pace nel verde del giardino e soprattutto nella casa ormai "nostra": i Mughetti. La vicinanza a Cortona (magnifica) e soprattutto l'essere a meta' strada tra Toscana e Umbria consente di definire il Casale un punto di riferimento difficilmente eguagliabile anche dal punto di vista logistico per poter raggiungere in breve tempo luoghi meravigliosi.

| I have stayed at several hotels in Cortona and tried Il Casale last time I was there. It was a wonderful alternative to the regular hotels, with a very comfortable setting, great amenities (laundry, kitchen, air conditioning) and an exceedingly friendly staff. All that for less than the price of a regular hotel. If you are planning to stay in Cortona for longer than a few days, you will appreciate it.

| We spent 3 days and 2 nights at Il Casale and had a delightful time. We were travelling with our 15 year old son and 17 year old daughter, so having the extra space of a spacious 2 bedroom apartment was a welcome treat from hotel rooms. The villa was beautiful, the rooms were clean and nicely decorated, and it made a perfect way to have a Tuscan villa experience. The grounds were lovely and it was fun to come back and hang out at the pool in the afternoon. The best part of Il Casale was getting to know the owners, Vittorio and Alessandra. They were very friendly, helpful, and went way out of their way to make us feel welcome. Allessanda was delightful and was always available to help and Vittorio even took us on a tour of his vineyard and gave us a bottle of wine! It was a great location for taking side trips (we loved Cortona, Assisi, and Siena) but a car is difinitely necessary. We would definitely return to Il Casale!

| I had a wonderful experience at Il Casale villas. The owners were friendly and the grounds were beautiful. It made for the best trip to Italy. The pool was immaculate and open for swimming at all hours. The rooms were spacious and fully equipped for cooking.

| Beautiful location for touring Tuscany. We loved the amenities - pool, kitchen,laundry. The location is walking distance to grocery and hike to Cortona. Train station is nearby. We appreciated the general quiet atmosphere and rustic surroundings. Would reccomend this location to anyone interested in touring Tuscany with a few days to soak in the sun by the pool.

| We enjoyed our staff very much. The staff were very helpful in contacting Alitalia Airlines regarding a lost piece of luggage.

| I recently spent a week at Il Casale with my husband and friends and we all found this place to be a lovely retreat. The gardens are beautiful and the swimming pool area is a delightful place to relax under the Tuscan sun.
Our accommodation was rustic, comfortable and relaxing and we all enjoyed having our meals outside our apartment. The apartment felt more like a little house with our own area of garden. Il Casale's position is very handy to reach a lot of interesting places and Cortona is a short drive away. (It is very reasonable to take a taxi if you wish to enjoy a few drinks in Cortona's ancient square). We drove to Siena and Lake Trasimeno with ease.
Vittorio, the owner and all his staff were very helpful and I would definitely recommend having breakfast at his other property, Villa Baldelli, which is just a short stroll away - it has a lovely terrace with views of Cortona and the breakfast was sumptious!
